ABOUT THE TEAM

RealPage Payments provides end-to-end automation of payment processing. Residents are offered multiple payment options with the convenience of secure 24-hour access when coupled with the Resident Portal allowing for the ability to pay whenever and wherever they want, check balances and set up fixed and variable recurring or one-time payments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Operations Analyst I requires the ultimate level of professional and comprehensive interaction and relationship management as well as attention to detail and regard for process development and cross-functional communication. This is an opportunity for a highly driven individual, who is pro-active, detail oriented, self-directed and sets a high-quality bar for themselves and their work product. You will work with the rest of the Payments Team on ad hoc financial projects and analyses as they arise. This role reports to the Sr. Operations Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in day-to-day Operations tasks including, but not limited to, file maintenance and audits, as needed
  • Consistently learning various Operations’ tasks to act as the backup or supplemental support, as needed
  • Effectively communicate basic Payments Operations tasks and vendor relationships
  • Work with payments processors and other supporting vendors to resolve issues
  • Responsible for resolving problems of low to moderate complexity
  • Responsible for operational excellence in designated responsibilities within setup and maintenance of the Payments product
  • Proactively seeks to understand technical content
  • Proactively suggests better approaches, processes, or methodologies to optimize project and process outcomes
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal staff
  • Delivers quality work on time, proactively addressing and resolving emerging challenges
  • Assures work products meet client or end user business need
  • Ability to operationalize and offshore processes for Operational scalability
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Process Owner of at least one Operations’ process while consistently building process and product knowledge
  • Escalate client concerns or issues to the manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work after regular business hours as needed to guarantee deliverables are met
  • Proficient in oral and written communication
  • Decision making, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to hit deadlines

  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Problem solving skills

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant experience in payments processing and/or merchant services
  • Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint
