WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team to manage our international accounting teams and corporate cash activities, as well as drive efficiencies and scalability of our consolidation processes. This role will work closely with our international accounting teams to consolidate subsidiary results each month and handle our close process. In addition, this is an opportunity to mentor and guide a team of four accountants in the management of several end-to-end processes within corporate accounting. This position reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Accounting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the international entity accounting close process for 5 of our international entities.
  • Responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting activities in various GL systems, including reviewing the monthly close process for international legal entities.
  • Responsible for accounting of corporate cash process.
  • Preparer / reviewer of balance sheet account reconciliations using Blackline.
  • Act as a valued business partner to our international teams and ensure compliance with operational policies and processes.
  • Assist with implementing accounting policies and procedures that ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles.
  • Optimize GL system accounting functionality via automation, scheduled entries, canned analysis reports, etc.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the critical differences between our subsidiary statutory books and our US GAAP books to facilitate our close process.
  • Assist in coordination of international statutory filings (including internal approvals from corporate executives).
  • Support information requests for both internal and external audits.
  • SOX compliance activities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in operational accounting, CPA preferred
  • Exposure to international subsidiary consolidations and foreign exchange accounting
  • Strong desire to mentor others
  • Ability to thrive in a fast and growing environment where change is the norm; strong multitasking skills with flexibility to easily alternate between projects quickly
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Experience working with NetSuite or other large-scale ERP
  • Experience working in a high-growth, publicly-traded company, strongly preferred
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred
