ABOUT THE TEAM

The Financial Account Manager III (FAM) is a partner to the Solution Account Manager in supporting Enterprise accounts with active Utility Expense Management services.  This is our most senior client-facing FAM role within the Customer Success organization and reports to the Senior Manager.   This role requires deep knowledge of RealPage invoice processing tools as well as expertise in non-RealPage accounting systems. The FAM III enjoys working with clients at all levels, from senior leadership to property managers and accounting team, to ensure our clients’ holistic financial health.  The FAM also works closely with internal teams to develop strategies based on client’s needs to ensure our client’s long-term success.   

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role requires deep knowledge of RealPage invoice processing tools as well as expertise in non-RealPage accounting systems. The FAM III enjoys working with clients at all levels, from senior leadership to property managers and accounting team.  Daily activty includes responding to client's questions, researching data and driving adoption of Funding and Reporting tools .  The FAM also works closely with internal teams to develop strategies based on client’s needs to ensure our client’s long-term success.   

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary liaison for strategic to institutional accounts with 400 to 600 sites and utilizing 100% Bill Pay services from RealPage, responding as necessary to address complex client inquiries, complicated questions and needs related to the RealPage Utility Management Utility Expense Management solution. 
  • Act as client advocate to internal teams and ensure appropriate responsiveness to client questions and concerns by clearly articulating financial needs, gaps and action items to clients to ensure timely response and resolution to client needs and inquiries. 
  • Use monthly/quarterly client scorecards to monitor client Utility Expense Management health, and proactively identify and recommend improvement opportunities to ensure long-term success of invoice processing performance.   
  • Conduct client and property analysis and track to completion to reduce number of validations and disconnections 
  • Complete new client transition process to reduce time required to successfully redirect accounts and number of ongoing redirections 
  • Perform primary job responsibilities rarely needing management assistance with escalations 
  • Mentor junior FAMs, providing escalation and enablement subject matter expertise as needed 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Three years of experience in general accounting, including AP/AR, accruals, check processing, account reconciliation, budgeting/forecasting, credit card and ACH Management and reconciliation, funding management and financial transactions analysis.   
  • Deep understanding of invoice processing systems and processes and client-facing applications 
  • Demonstrated experience taking initiative and managing time effectively  
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to creative solutions to unique customer problems 
  • Excellent relationship building skills that enable long-term growth and opportunity 
  • Excellent presentationverbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to understand and communicate customer needs and expectations 
  • Proficient with Microsoft skills - MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook 
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating with peers under competing deadlines 
  • Able to travel if requested by Account Manager or client for account reviews 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Experience in the Utility Management industry preferred
