WHAT YOU’LL DO

The SVP of Revenue Operations is a key leadership role in the Finance organization responsible for leading the Revenue and Quote to Cash functions. This position will partner closely with other teams across the company to influence and drive results for a wide array of pre and post sales initiatives.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for billing quality control, system implementations and improvements, standardizing processes, and mentoring the team.  This position will be an advocate for automation, process improvement, performance metrics, transparency, and teamwork.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Quote to Cash processes including partnering cross functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, Customer Success, Legal & Finance teams to improve execution of pre- and post-sales processes, including approval process, deal desk, contract management, billing, invoice management, credit, collections, and cash
  • Hire, manage and develop a high-performing team where inclusion and diversity of thought are leveraged for innovation and continuous improvement. Develop a culture of mentorship, training, and success in the revenue organization
  • Provide leadership and feedback on employee performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive employee engagement and career development for team
  • Meet financial goals of department by identifying and leading initiatives that continually drive process improvement through organization. Operate within budget constraints and offshore tasks to reduce costs when necessary
  • Provide business partnering and decision support on complex deals and new product launches. Review non-standard sales contracts for compliance with accounting rules and company policy and assist in structuring deals and contract terms and conditions. Review new product offerings and provide guidance in contract preparation and system set up
  • Participate in software implementations and system enhancement design including writing business requirements and system testing to drive efficiencies by automating manual tasks
  • Coordinate system and billing conversions for company acquisitions. Integrate acquisition processes and personnel into centralized teams, processes, and systems
  • Oversee internal control process including identifying and updating key controls and process narratives to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Serve as key contact for internal and external financial and SOX audits
  • Assist the Account Management, Sales and AR teams in resolving escalated customer inquiries and billing discrepancies. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and provide support as required
  • Assist FP&A with creating and delivering revenue metrics and reporting
  • Assist the CFO with ad hoc projects and analysis as required
  • Assist the Vice President with ad hoc projects and analysis as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years in a leadership/management position in an accounting organization, with demonstrated ability and track record of success in driving change and improving operations
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence management and contributors at all levels of the organization and across functions. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proven success at leading and mentoring teams
  • Strong knowledge of internal control concepts and experience with one or more financial ERP/general ledger systems, Salesforce and supplementary revenue systems/modules is a plus
  • Strong-to-expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a fast paced, high transaction/billing volume environment a plus
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
