ABOUT THE TEAM

RealPage is looking for a detail-oriented, energetic professional to join our Global Learning and Development team. The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will assist in the organization, planning, and delivery of global learning experiences – both in-person and virtual.  Learning experiences include but are not limited to new hire orientation, employee and leadership development, webinars and diversity and inclusion training.  The ideal candidate will possess a training and development background, be familiar with adult learning principles, comfortable presenting to in-person and virtual audiences, highly organized, and have previous experience working with multiple departments or business units within an organization.  Experience working with global audiences is a plus.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will doing:

  • Work collaboratively with the global learning and development team to plan, organize, and lead new hire orientation(s)
  • Support the training initiatives of the leadership development and diversity and inclusion programs
  • Partner with the Global Lead to plan training cohorts, review materials and update as needed, conduct sessions and evaluate feedback.
  • Day-to- day management of learning programs within the RealPage learning management system (LMS) – RealPage University
  • Serves as the L&D liaison to HR Business Partners for needed L&D training reports – to include employee compliance reporting
  • Provides training support for other talent initiatives – to include performance management and engagement survey training
  • Stays connected to the latest trends within the learning, leadership, and talent development arena
  • Assists in the evaluation of training programs, makes recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Assists in defining, measuring, and analyzing the impact of training and ROI

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

What it takes to get the job:

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR or training related functions – to include training and development, leadership development, and/or New Hire Orientation
  • Extremely detail-oriented and well organized
  • High-caliber presentation skills and familiarity with producing virtual training sessions
  • Possesses a natural curiosity, initiative to learn more about the organization
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and accepted instructional theories, practice, and design methodologies preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with front line employees to senior level business leaders across the global organization
  • Tech sav Jovy (ability to quickly learn new technologies), to include all social media platforms
  • Creative, Efficient, and Quality Oriented
  • Strong proficiency in the use of a learning management and human resource system (LMS/HRIS)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction from manager
