RealPage Document Director provides storage, retrieval, security, and archiving for documents and forms associated with a property management company’s business processes and procedures. Our team is passionate about creating a solution our clients will love that integrates across many other RealPage products.

The client experience is at the core of everything we build. Our product teams root decisions in a deep understanding of how each persona is using the product and how to make the product as efficient as it can be.


The business analyst role works across multiple product teams and is a key part of many processes including developing support and customer facing documentation, gathering and validating requirements, and helping support customers through beta launches and working closely with the development team to ensure requirements are documented and prioritized


  • Gather requirements from both internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Build strategic partnerships/relationships via excellent client relationship management skills, business analysis and technical writing skills.
  • Assist in problem and issue resolution with project, product manager and the development team and report progress on initiatives in a summarized written format.
  • Create project related documents including system requirements.
  • Work with the cross functional teams in helping them create quality design documents and in developing quality Products within the scheduled timeline.
  • Lead tasks and business process analysis sessions.
  • Organize, participate, and conduct application walk-throughs, and other internal/external presentations.
  • Identify & contribute to process improvement activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff.
  • Provide input to software roadmap by participating in client discussions to determine top priority features.
  • Support operational systems/applications used by RealPage internal community.
  • Assist and analyze operational reports used by management.


On Your First Day, We Expect You To Have

  • 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a business analyst or other troubleshooting or analytical focused customer facing role.
  • Technical experience includes various phases of SDLC e.g. requirement analysis; design and testing.
  • Exposure to various development methodologies including Agile procedures.
  • In depth experience in acting as a liaison among lines of business by managing relationships.
  • Must be able to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing abilities.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in backlog grooming and sizing, sprint planning, and daily Scrums
  • Keep Customer Success, Customer Support and Sales informed of product changes and serve as the point person for them on your team


  • Experience with SaaS, or complex enterprise applications. Even better if you have worked on document management solutions, or process/ workflow management products.
  • Have an understanding of the Rental Real Estate industry
