WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Product Manager, reporting to the Director of Product Management, you’ll be a key member of the Product Management team helping to deliver the core tools and services property managers need to run their businesses. You’ll collaborate with the team to build, test, and optimize the property management experience. As a Product Manager at RealPage, you’ll work with a delivery team to guide a team of passionate engineers focused on creating products that our customers love. In this role you will be responsible for leading the strategy and delivery of value driven products to our customer base.  You’ll become the acknowledged expert on your scrum teams with deep knowledge of our customers, the industry, our product, and our business.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with engineering, product marketing, and management teams to bring products from inception to market
  • Translate game-changing projects into execution, by working closely and having shared understanding with business leadership, design, marketing/sales and engineering in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Work closely with customers to iterate and validate product concepts to ensure customer success and adoption.
  • Prioritize customer needs and develop product roadmaps to deliver on meeting customer expectations.
  • Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release.
  • Turn customer and market insights into actionable business and product requirements.
  • Identify new opportunities; creatively translate existing products into solutions that meet market needs
  • Troubleshoot issues with clients and aid in identifying the root cause.
  • Prioritize issues and work with development to ensure escalations are handled in timely manner.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 3-5+ years designing and delivering world-classs oftware products in a Product Management role 
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for accounting, payments or enterprise offerings
  • Experience with Agile Development
  • Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap
  • Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch on-time and on-budget with web and mobile software product offerings
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to think and lead complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong fluency with data – analyzing data sets and making data driven decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting regular deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, work independently, and take initiative
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand customers’ business to provide a competitive advantage
  • Ability to lead customer facing discussions around existing and future product feature sets
