WHAT YOU’LL DO

You have 3-5 years of digital advertising experience under your belt. You’ve got an impressive track record of mentoring team members on all things digital advertising, after all you are an expert! You’re an excellent problem solver, and love finding solutions through data analysis and critical thinking. You have agency experience managing large advertising budgets all while creating an awesome customer experience and bringing home the ROI. When you hear wind of new trends or best practices, you jump in head-first to learn more and excel at sharing your knowledge with internal and external partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the development and measurement of digital advertising strategies and best practices that maximize client performance
  • Work with Sales Operations and Google Partners to measure growth of the DA business and proactively identify opportunities to sell into the install base
  • Works with Sales to develop tailored Digital Advertising solutions for Key or VIP accounts
  • Standardize client facing material working with Product Marketing, Account Management, and Sales to highlight the value of Digital Advertising with G5
  • Determine which paid channels yield the best returns and allocate client budget accordingly and monitor/adjust campaign controls to achieve optimal client results
  • Participates in customer facing business and performance reviews with clients on an as needed basis to discuss digital strategies in depth
  • Review & monitor competitive landscape and client's place within that landscape for each search engine / paid channel
  • On-going mentoring and training of Digital Advertising team members
  • Responsible for the execution of ad network betas, and driving ongoing testing of updates & changes in the digital landscape
  • Continuous testing of current G5 best practices; developing and monitoring test plans, implementing testing protocol, and analyzing results
  • Define team KPIs and strategies for goal achievement, tactical accountability and performance evaluation

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 3-5 years of experience managing high-volume, large spend digital advertising campaigns
  • Proven track record of being a thought leader and mentor within a digital advertising team
  • Comprehensive understanding of targeting and campaign structure best-practices within each network (Google, Microsoft and Facebook Ads) and channel (search, display, remarketing and social)
  • Achieve and maintain certain professional qualifications, including but not limited to: Google Ads Professional, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and Microsoft Ads Accredited Professional
  • Inherent desire and ability to seek out and learn cutting edge industry trends
  • Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through data analysis and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to rally the team around new ideas
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheet skills (pivot tables, charts, v look-ups, “if” statements, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
