As a Senior Brand Writer, you understand the importance of brand positioning and storytelling. You are a creative individual who excels at building brands from the ground up. Additionally, you are an expert at branded user-focused copy for websites, including SEO. This position requires interdepartmental collaboration and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time. Projects will include, but are not limited to, brand development and positioning, web content, and various marketing collateral. The Senior Brand Writer also collaborates with leadership on process changes and helps train the team when needed.  Success in this role will be demonstrated by the creation of quality content that differentiates our client’s brand and business and will depend on the individual's ability to manage a constant workflow, collaborate across teams and departments, meet deadlines, and understand and implement SEO strategies, all while working with a positive, team-focused attitude. In addition to producing compelling content, the Senior Brand Writer plays a pivotal role in mentoring other members of the team — including editors, writers, and contractors — with the goal of elevating the quality of the Studio’s creative deliverable. #LI-REMOTE #LI-CP3


Remote Opportunity


  • Creates unique and engaging brand-specific written content that drives lead generation 
    • Brand development for clients, which includes: Brand Pillars, Brand Guidelines, Tone of Voice Guidelines, and Social Media Guidelines 
    • Digital content includes: website and marketing content, sales collateral, emails, banners, promotions, direct mail pieces, and blog posts
  • Manages workflow efficiently and completes projects on deadline
  • Uploads and publishes content in the content management system (CMS) as needed
  • Effectively translates edits and feedback from clients and internal teams to improve copy 
  • Researches and creates content calendars and monthly blog posts on a variety of topics 
  • Collaborates with brand strategists and design team on content strategy and layout custom of websites
  • Is in constant search of ways to improve collaboration, communication, and workflow
  • Edits and delivers high-quality, brand-specific written content on time while exceeding expectations
  • Oversees proofing/editing responsibilities for grammar, punctuation, tone, and style of all copy
  • Edits digital content for our clients which includes: Web marketing content, sales collateral, emails, banners, promotions, direct mail pieces, internal blog posts and social media posts
  • Edits brand content for our clients which includes: Brand Guidelines, Tone of Voice Guidelines and Social Media Guidelines 
  • Serves as the Content subject matter expert for brand development and positioning
  • Maintains site style standards and develops and enforces internal guidelines by vertical; may conduct client interviews to ascertain tone, voice and brand for clients across verticals, as needed
  • Uses copy editing and writing experience to provide training, support and guidance to more junior team members
  • Evolves our best practices and keeps abreast of trends in verticals we serve
  • Works interdepartmentally across the organization to ensure all guidelines and best practices are up to date with current industry standards
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by manager


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in Editing, Writing, Marketing, Research or a related field
  • Proficiency in researching, writing and editing informative and user-centered copy with minimal to no supervision
  • Experience developing and implementing brands
  • Experience utilizing SEO strategies in digital content
  • Excellent editing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent command of grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Understanding of style and adapting content to context
  • Ability to manage a project effectively by coordinating with team members and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage expectations across teams
