This Instructional Designer will work closely with RealPage’s Delivery leaders to design, develop and implement engaging, efficient, and impactful learning experiences that enable RealPage team members to acquire, apply, and retain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to provide industry-leading performance. #LI-BW1 #LI-Remote


  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and understanding
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s educational needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Create exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc)
  • Devise methods of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of each course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, best practices, and methods


  • BS, MA degree or certification in instructional design, educational technology, or similar
  • Three (3) years of experience in instructional design with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
  • Practical knowledge of various course-authoring software and Learning Management Systems
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
