This position sits within the Enterprise Systems Organization in RealPage

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Senior Director of CPQ/CLM & Salesforce teamyou will lead the implementations of CPQ/CLM and support Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Ops teams from a Salesforce perspective. You will apply technical acumen and a data-driven approach to ensure the Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Ops teams are supported from a keep the lights on, investments / enhancements, and transformations aligning with business outcomes. #LI-JL1 #LI-REMOTE

 

This position will report to VP, Enterprise Applications and can be based in our Richardson, TX office, we’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain the strategic plan for customer relationship management features for sales, marketing, revenue operations, procurement and legal
  • Lead technical design and architectural framework, development, implementation, integrations, and data flows for Conga CLM and Salesforce-based CPQ solutions to meet or exceed business requirements, adhering to best practices and solutions design standards, with an emphasis on maximizing out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Take initiative to identify CPQ/CLM service enhancements and/or process improvements by defining the CPQ/CLM solutions roadmap to drive incremental and continuous improvement aligned with business objectives and technical innovation.
  • Build a world-class CPQ and CLM process working closely with Salesforce, Conga, implementation partners, and internal resources.
  • Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap by working with business units to identify, sequence, and prioritize enhancement requests in conjunction with upcoming vendor releases and available budget allocation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Architecture and Mergers and Acquisition teams to formulate future acquisition integration playbook into Salesforce.
  • Help gain consensus on business and technical decision and ensure that appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality and rapid results.
  • Focus on maximizing Salesforce/Conga configurations and minimizing custom development.
  • Partner with business and development teams to ensure solution designs align with the overall architecture roadmap for the Center of Excellence and create guidelines and tools for release management and change management processes
  • Lead the technical design and strategy for Salesforce integration with other third-party and home-grown services.
  • Responsible for the consolidation of various Salesforce orgs into future state multi org structure based on business needs.
  • Support a “can-do” culture, hire the best talent and establish performance standards that result in world class customer relationship management system in an agile development environment.
  • Manage and guide global Managers and team members as they lead their teams and set prioritization.
  • Strategize and plan with the different departments to ensure there are clear goals and accountability in line with the business objectives
  • Build a collaborative team and act as a trusted adviser to the business stakeholders while championing process definition and continuous improvement
  • Makes strategic decisions for the organization regarding what services and product offerings will be made available
  • Coordinate business development activities, mentor leaders in developing appropriate client relationships, and identify and win appropriate engagement opportunities
  • Key to this role is your ability to think strategically, build cross-functional relationships, apply critical thinking skills and take initiatives to get results
  • You will partner with customers across the business to drive innovation and create structure to achieve our goals
  • Lead, develop, and complete transformation communications as needed thru partnership with the Change & Communications Team

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience; MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience operating in a SaaS environment supporting a financial organization and their application-specific needs; equivalent leadership experience managing and developing talent
  • 10+ years of related experience in full-lifecycle CPQ/CLM projects in the following technologies:  Salesforce, Conga and DocuSign. CPQ, E-commerce, and Salesforce migrations are essential.
  • MUST have experience working with Legal / Contracts / Procurement teams and senior leaders within those functions
  • Master Data Management experience with Product and Account Masters preferred
  • Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated consistent ability to build and manage complex global (e.g., multi-country) and large-scale systems hitting growth, productivity, and efficiency targets
  • Strong industry or domain expertise and thorough knowledge of the marketplace, integrators, and opportunities that will drive business process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Strong executive presence, innovative leader in application services, influential communicator, natural collaborator with customers, vendors, leadership, and peer

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM certification is a plus.
