Overview

RealPage is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant with supervisory experience for our growing Treasury Operations team at our corporate office.  This position requires familiarity with banking practices and processes related to AR, AP, and lockboxes. Interacting with banks and third-party processors to identify and correct threats to client satisfaction and team productivity through data analysis, issue resolution, creative thinking, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes data to identify, resolve and prevent such things as client liability, process failures, revenue leaks and customer dissatisfaction
  • Assist and guide staff with research and resolution of reconciling items on a timely basis.
  • Work with upper management, internal and external auditors on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile customer general ledger accounts to supporting detail on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Detailed involvement in multiple projects with the ability to track and maintain progress
  • Partner within Realpage, management, banks, and third-party processors to devise and implement methods of handling exceptions while strictly adhering to all RealPage policies and US laws.
  • Serve as Treasury Departments’ subject matter expert related to lockbox processes, relevant banking practices, etc.
  • Contunous pursuit of vendors to convert manual paper payments to electronic ACH and/or EDI
  • Liaisons with technical experts, both internal and external, in order to identify and resolve issues with systems and technology and suggests enhancements or new methods
  • Insure all processes and procedures are thoroughly documented through detailed desktop procedures, keeping up to date at all times

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years working in a high volume, fast-paced financial Shared Service organization
  • Four-year college degree with Finance/Accounting major required
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred
  • Familiarity with modules bank portals
  • Ability to identify and prioritize activities
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing available resources
  • Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience working with off-shore team in multiple countries
