The Account Manager is a position within the Utility Management organization focused on the client experience, expansion and retention.  The Account Manager works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.  The Account Manager exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.  This position builds productive internal and external working relationships. The role is responsible for reinforcing the value RealPage Utility Management contributes to the client organization through performance reporting and customer service. 



  • Acts as primary contact to client for Utility Management
  • Manages assigned accounts to drive client expansion
  • Retains business by reinforcing value of RealPage Utility Management products and services to align with client objectives
  • Provides analysis of key metrics to communicate to client
  • Identify opportunities for client to increase recovery, income or other value-added service adoption
  • Prepare and lead comprehensive Account Review for assigned clients
  • Lead regular calls with client to review action items and understand client needs
  • Maintain Strategic Account Plan for each client
  • Collaborate with other RealPage Utility Management departments, Sales and Customer Service Advocate to coordinate client needs and resolve outstanding issues





  • Account Management experience required
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external management and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient knowledge of MS office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow up skills required



  • College degree preferred
  • Utility Management experience preferred
  • Experience in the property management industry preferred
