Overview

The Vice President of Sales directs and coordinates the sales force ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Day to day management of sales team ensuring sales revenue numbers are achieved.
  • Regular oral and written communication to the entire staff
  • Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and direction to all staff, including training and development, operational practices, and departmental procedures.
  • Assist in developing and establishing departmental standards and procedures.
  • Complete assigned management reports as needed.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on team members' individual job performance.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and counseling to team members.
  • Serve as a member of the management committee and works in harmony with RealPage Managers.
  • Develop sales strategy.
  • Attend tradeshows and industry functions.
  • Prepare and administer budgets.
  • Monthly P&L review
  • Approve expense accounts and expenditures.
  • Plans and execute sales meetings

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales with a focus on client services and operations; minimum of 5 years general management experience
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to develop top talent
  • Process engineering and project management methodology required; proven ability to execute and measure performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and move quickly between projects and stages with product
  • Ability to train, guide others, and work well in a dynamic team environment
  • Patience in dealing with a changing product environment
  • A familiarity with RealPage products, other property management software, or the property management industry is preferred
  • Experience in a SaaS company highly desired
  • Digital Marketing experience (SEO, SEM, PPC) experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
