Overview

The role of the Marketing Account Manager (B2C) is to successfully coordinate, implement, and manage strategic communication plans for a number of clients on a month-to-month basis. As part of a growing team of Account Managers and as an extension of Client Success, you will be responsible for establishing contact with new accounts as well as maintain relationships with existing accounts in an effort to ensure success through a high adoption of electronic payments and a smooth implementation of creative strategies. The Marketing Account Manager will flush out and utilize all optimal communication channels available to each unique client while also creating new channels where possible. This position is located in ClickPay’s Sales and Marketing office in New York, NY

Responsibilities

  • Engage with and build positive relationships with a number of clients varying in size, geography, and demographics
  • Identify communication opportunities and develop strategic, client-specific marketing plans
  • Manage and implement marketing strategies for a number of accounts on a monthly basis
  • Monitor traffic for initiatives and conduct post-campaign analytics as it pertains to conversions
  • Provide quality assurance support as it pertains to outgoing initiatives for you and your peers
  • Research, test, and develop new strategies focused on maximizing revenue and conversions
  • Collaborate closely with operational departments to ensure ongoing client success through adoption and retention
  • Assist the Special Project team in supporting high-level, strategic initiatives  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in account relationship management required
  • 0-2 years of experience in planning and executing strategic marketing efforts
  • Extremely organized with the ability to manage and meet weekly/monthly deadlines
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects out of scope
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned customers
  • Experience with Email Service Providers platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe CS including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus
  • Basic HTML coding knowledge a plus
