The Product Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the development of the go-to-market strategy for RealPage’s industry-leading Sustainability Suite and Utility Management Suite portfolio.

Working side-by-side with product leaders, sales, and marketing, this individual will develop a deep understanding of business objectives, market trends and clients’ needs to create product marketing strategies and plans that will have a direct impact on increasing revenue. As someone who thinks strategically and analytically, they also need to execute in the trenches.


  • Assist in the creation, execution and measurement of the go-to-market strategy for specific products and product families collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitor’s products through market reconnaissance and SWOT analysis
  • Understand buying personas and differentiators by vertical market
  • Identify key features and benefits of each product including value propositions and provide to Sales and Sales Enablement
  • Utilize knowledge to create training, messaging / content, collateral and product presentations in partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • Partner with Marketing to plan and create product marketing campaigns
  • Partner with Product Management in identifying and launching new products and product enhancements
  • Assist in assessing and defining a pricing strategy to maximize revenue and remain competitive in the market


  • 5+ years’ experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience in a product marketing specific function
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related degree
  • Experience within a technology or property management company a plus
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills. Must be able to report on the status of projects and results to executive level leadership.
  • Must have good planning and time-management skills and be adept at balancing multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Must have strong analytical skills, and utilize those capabilities to develop strategic initiatives
  • Must be a self-starter who can build a good rapport with internal clients and peers
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Must be flexible and able to work extended hours as required
  • Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and adapt to new products or new projects quickly
  • Should be polished and speak well in public, as well have experience presenting to executive-level leaders
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce or other CRM
  • Certifications in product martketing from the Product Marketing Alliance or Pragmatic Institute are preferred
