Reporting to the company President, you will partner across every function in the company to ensure successful execution of the company’s Payments business strategy. You will own the strategy development as well as revenue and growth targets for the business. You will develop and launch new Payments related products. This is an exciting opportunity to be a Financial Services thought leader for our organization and to play a fundamental role in our Financial Services business unit.


What you will be doing:

  • Align cross-functional partners across the org on a competitive and forward thinking go-to-market strategy for our Payments product offering for new customer acquisition and cross-selling, partnering closely with our Sales and Marketing organizations.
  • Manage end-to-end performance of business including all key business drivers/metrics, including conversion and churn. Bring to the table best-in-class benchmarks for payments processing businesses/product and build a path to get there.
  • Manage our Payments operational infrastructure, including our payments boarding operations, gateway and processing vendors and high-risk processing partnerships
  • Be a thought leader on strategies and marketing to influence and incentivize our merchants to process a larger share of transactions via credit card.
  • Ensure alignment of the product line strategy and innovation plan through the development of Technology and Capability roadmaps (in conjunction with technical and operations teams)
  • Responsible for ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and strategy execution with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Engineering/Quality, Regulatory, and Finance
  • Responsible for compliance, support and outcome of issue-free audits and reviews, increased operational efficiency, increased levels of automation, channel convergence, etc.
  • Participate as appropriate on vendor and industry advisory boards to maintain working knowledge of emerging capabilities, issues and regulation.
  • Product lifecycle management from product planning to phasing out of the product(s) across all product segment/markets
  • Work with the sales organization on strategic customer engagements.



What we think it takes to get the job:

  • 10 years of experience in a financial services or payments related organization with direct knowledge and responsibility for payment system delivery channels and operations in large commercial organizations. Prior Fin-tech company experience preferred. Prior experience managing high growth businesses also a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-level direct reports; effective in building team capability, attracting and developing talent, driving effectiveness, discipline and standard work, building effective teams and bench strength.
  • Drive for Excellence - proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to successful execution of plans; ensures accountability, motivates people and maximizes impact/results.
  • Shape the Future - can build vision, develop strategic plans, set direction and accelerate change needed to impact results
  • Communication - excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; strong verbal and written communication as well as conflict management skills. Exceptional skills presenting at executive and industry analyst briefings, sales kickoffs and customer meetings.
  • Project Management - strong organization, project lifecycle and planning skills; adept at translating market research and analysis into action plans
  • Industry/Business Acumen - demonstrated analytical thinking and cognitive abilities with technical and clinical acumen to identify opportunities and solve market/customer challenges
  • Functional Knowledge - understanding and proficiency in core up and downstream marketing processes including: Product & Technology Roadmaps, Marketing Plans, Strategic Planning, Business Case Development, Marketing Campaigns
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or a related field
  • Master’s in business administration (MBA) preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally frequently
