WHAT YOU’LL DO

The HR Generalist will provide day-to-day support to the Business Partner function within our center of excellence matrixed environment. This role will partner across every function of Human Resources to ensure successful execution of the team’s processes and strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced,  evolving department and is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of HR. This role has the potential to be a succession into a Business Partner role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the offboarding process with leaders, HR, HRIS and IT to ensure employees and leaders receive proper offboarding communication, exit interviews and systems are updated timely and properly
  • Oversee entire unemployment process with 3rd party vendor. Serve as main point of contact for the account, process billing payments, coordinate responses etc.
  • Assist HRBP with in-person/remote termination meetings and coordination of collection of employee personal belongings and conduct investigations as needed
  • Deliver new employee orientation presentations to give an outstanding experience for our new teammates
  • Manage shared HRBP Outlook inbox to respond to or coordinate responses to employee inquiries
  • Partner with HRBP team to manage tracking of performance logs and consolidate large amounts of data in excel on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in maintaining accurate electronic employee records within the HRIS and partner with legal on all employee record requests
  • Create and update Human Resources forms, workflows and processes and maintain HRBP shared drive files for version control

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative support role with some familiarity with the HR regulations
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills with timely responses and the ability to communicate with individuals of all levels within the organization
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Drive for Excellence - proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to successful execution of plans; ensures accountability, motivates people and maximizes impact/results
