WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Vice President of Brand/Creative will be responsible for building the messaging and positioning for our fast-growing company. Innovation is in our DNA, so you will get to forge new solutions sets within the rental housing market, building the brand with each new first which will be a combination of built in-house or through highly strategic acquisitions that will be integrated and grown as part of the RealPage suite of solutions. Further, this role will be responsible for running the business of our internal agency from budgeting through productivity. And, will be the architect and caretaker of our vendor ecosystem to enable breakthrough messaging, positioning and creative.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience in building brand awareness and recognition.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial by nature and works well in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You will be responsible to carry out all creative and innovative initiatives and find a way to win the right way.
  • You must be customer-centric and can identify and meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives.
  • Will be metric driven and can draw insight from complex marketing data.
  • You will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:
  • Campaign concepting and execution
  • Messaging and Positioning
  • GTM strategy
  • Event creative strategy and execution
  • Leadership of end-to-end in-house agency – writers, designers, UI/UX, development, video, etc.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

The VP of Marketing would need to demonstrate the following competences and have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, minimum of 10 years of marketing agency experience and 5 years of marketing agency leadership experience.

  • Proven experience leading breakthrough creative teams, with an emphasis on customer-centric communications and bottom-line business results.
  • Creative should be built with the business targets and persona in mind and should be innovative within our Brand visual identity.
  • Experience with acquisition planning and brand equity analysis and transference is critical.
  • Experience driving a data driven approach from demand through to brand health required.
  • Experience leading the business of running an agency – budgeting, resource planning, mentoring and training.
  • Experience with implementing and leveraging martech to support the creative business including tools that create project plans, track and capture review to streamline and meet deadlines, productivity enablement and tracking, etc.
  • Deep digital first orientation with extensive experience with web, digital assets to enable increased conversion in omnichannel campaigns, web design, etc.
  • Proven leadership experience creating a collaborative, fun and successful creative organization.
  • Proven track record of being a goal-oriented business partner along with being an innovative creative force.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, fluid, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Able to, and enjoy, shifting between creative and visionary to pragmatic and tactical.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Significant experience with design firm or ad agency with software companies.
  • A secret digital marketing geek, always seeking new ways to feed the brand health and demand engines.
  • Consider the business of the agency equally as important to the creative output.
  • Can outline a clear set of metrics that matter beyond quantity of assets created.
  • Are not afraid to lead, test and optimize.
  • Are collaborative, but bold and can influence so you can work at speed.
