STARS is an organizational initiative that is designed to align all parts of the RealPage organization on customer value creation. STARS is supported by an analytics and benchmarking solution that enables the RealPage sales, client management, and product management organizations to have value oriented engagements with customers. STARS value oriented engagements help our clients understand outperformance successes and underperformance opportunities with their properties and portfolios. Leading these engagements helps RealPage to better position our products to drive measurable value creation which ultimately helps us to acheive higher velocity sales and greater customer retention.


The Director of STARS Deployment and Sales Engagement will work closely with sales, marketing, and client management to define, design, and deploy STARS supported sales, marketing, and client engagement campaigns accross the organization. This position will also play a key role in developing go to market strategies and leveraging STARS for RealPage's broader industry leading analytics solutions. This is a senior position that requires strong project management, analytical, marketing, and cross functional collaboration experience. This role reports to the VP of STARS and Operational Analytics.


  • Work closely with with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Client Management to identify opportunities to leverage STARS in sales & marketing campaigns, product strategy, and client management engagements
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and client management to oversee campaign development including coordinating and assigning resources, segmentation, training, content development, deployment, communication, measurement, and follow up
  • Collaborate with Client Management to drive and scale STARS powered customer business reviews that expand customer engagement, create new sales opportunities, and increase retention
  • Support the creation, execution, and measurement of go-to-market strategy for RealPage's analytics solutions
  • Develop strategies to leverage STARS to drive growth of RealPage's analytics solutions.
  • Produce refined and polished executive and customer presentations
  • Support annual and quarterly business planning process
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required in a Business, Marketing, or related program
  • 5+ years experience in a senior Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales Strategy, or Sales Engineering role
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent presentation and sales/marketing content development skills
  • Technology solution Training skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Polished presentation and communication; Ability to present and discuss initiatives and updates with C-level executives
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Demonstrated professional maturity to handle confidential information
  • Self-starter and able to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with only general direction and minimal supervision
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Must be flexible and able to work extended hours as required


  • MBA or Masters degree in a Business, Marketing, or related program
  • Experience leading or supporting data or analytics businesses
  • SaaS company experience
  • Real Estate industry experience
