ABOUT THE TEAM

The Product Marketing Director plays a key role in the development of the go-to-market strategy for RealPage’s industry-leading property management software. Working side-by-side with Product Leaders, Sales and Marketing, this individual will develop a deep understanding of business objectives, market trends and clients’ needs to create marketing strategies that will have a direct impact on increasing revenue. As someone who thinks strategically, they also need to execute in the trenches. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, execute and measure the go-to-market strategy for specific products and product families collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Define, assess and maintain a pricing strategy to maximize revenue and remain competitive in the market
  • Develop deep understanding of competitor’s products through market reconnaissance and SWOT analysis
  • Understand buying personas and differentiators by vertical markets
  • Identify key features and benefits of each product and provide to Sales and Sales Enablement
  • Utilize knowledge to create training, content and collateral in partnership with Marketing
  • Create and deliver web-based campaigns in coordination with other internal stakeholders

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 8+ years’ experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience in a product marketing specific function
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related degree
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • Experience within a technology or property management company a plus
  • Excellent project management skills.  Must be able to report on the status of projects and results to executive level leadership.
  • Must have good planning and time-management skills and be adept at balancing multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter who can build a good rapport with internal clients and peers
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Must be flexible and able to work extended hours as required
  • Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and adapt to new products or new projects quickly
  • Should be polished and speak well in public, as well have experience presenting to executive-level leaders
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce or other CRM
