The Financial Services Business Unit is seeking an SVP of Payments to focus on the future vision of payments and lead the building of a Unified Payments Platform.


The SVP of Payments determines and formulates policies and business strategies as well as provides overall Payments direction of the sales, marketing, product and development organization. The SVP plans, directs, and coordinates operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate executive leaders.  The Payments SVP plays a vital role in business development, key strategic decisions and responsible for developing, implementing and managing all aspects of the Company’s Payments Department. This position will report to the SVP of Financial Services.


Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives
  • Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services.
  • Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines
  • Liaison between legal counsel, CEO and Sales to insure that all contracts and agreements are in synch with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures with the assistance of the company Human Resources department.
  • Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
  • Assists in the evaluation, analysis, and integration of acquisitions other new businesses/products into the organization
  • Interfaces with support organizations, including but not limited to Legal, Finance, HR, Accounting, and Operations/IT
  • Attends various industry conferences as a representative of the company and its strategy.
  • Develop financial analysis including financial and operating models, scenarios of projected performance, and financial statement analysis
  • Manages the sales pipeline for each of the vertical market segments.


  • Bachelor’s degree, demonstrating outstanding academic performance; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years experience working in a business development, including direct project management experience
  • At least 8 years experience in the financial services industry; specific experience with payments processing required
  • Previous experience within the multi-family software industry
  • Proven experience in the development of business plans and strategy
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to persuade others, build consensus and work in a team
  • Significant financial modeling expertise
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel, MS Word
  • Ability to travel as needed
