ABOUT THE TEAM

  • Lead a team of onshore and offshore development team members working on our API Management solution delivering business value with hands-on solution development and active participation in our SAFe development processes.
  • Work with our cross-functional team of developers, designers and product owners to develop and maintain our API management solution.
  • Build components that are scalable, flexible and compatible across different frameworks and browsers.
  • Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in large/complex development projects.
  • Collaborate with our Enterprise teams to ensure components are designed per standards.
  • Respond to trouble/support calls per SLA for applications in production to make quick repair to keep application in production. Conducts complex analyses trouble shooting issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that each increment adheres to user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
  • Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.
  • Support the team in the writing of deployment scripts and place strong emphasis in automated deployment, infrastructure automation solutions, and continuous delivery process.
  • Responds timely and relates extremely well to people in all positions, initiating and maintaining relationships inside and outside his or her organization or field of expertise.
  • Pursues learning beyond current responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate sense of ownership on the work and responsibilities, meeting product owner vision.
  • Mentor or grow other members in the team. Facilitate cooperation and motivates team members to accomplish group goals.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related AND 4 years of software application development experience. Employer will also accept a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related AND 2 years of software application development experience in lieu of Bachelor’s and 4 years.

 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Applicants must also have the following:

 

4 years w/ BS; 2 years w/ MS:

  • Hands on development utilizing ASP.Net, and C#
  • Latest .Net Framework
  • Latest MS SQL Server or Postgres (Database design & SQL SPROC construction)
  • Webservice / WCF
  • Web servers like IIS or nginx
  • Developing Windows forms, Web, and MVC applications
  • REST and SOAP API integrations
  • XSLT Transformations
  • Designing and architecting solutions
  • javascript, Jquery, CSS and SCSS

 

 

3 years w/ BS; 2 years w/ MS:

  • Windows and Linux systems
  • Entity framework, and Elk Stack
  • Code repositories in TFS and Git hub
  • Teamcity or Azure Pipelines for configuring, Ansible, building & releasing applications to windows and linux servers
  • PowerShell or Shell scripting
  • Building automated unit test cases using MSTest or xUnit

 

2 years experience with:

  • OpenAPI design specifications
  • API Gateways

 

1 year experience with:

  • Angular 6+
  • In-memory data storage technologies like memchached, or Redis
