RealPage is looking for an experienced B2B Campaign Planning & Performance Analyst to own forecasting and performance analysis of demand generation activities and marketing programs. The ideal candidate will use a data-driven approach to deliver relevant insights and optimization strategies to improve the effectiveness of marketing programs and drive results against growth targets, on-time and on budget.


The ideal candidate will have a mix of traditional data analytics, marketing strategy & planning, and marketing or sales performance analysis experience. You will partner with marketing, sales and product stakeholders to enable data-driven organizational alignment towards critical business value drivers. Through ongoing forecast management and trend analysis, you will will facilitate the development of investment strategies and plans with marketing teams including goal setting. Through regular reporting and presentation of insights, you will enable the measurement of marketing program performance and drive conversations to optimize and improve ROI for the business.



Strategic Planning, Goals, Forecast Management

  • Create goals, strategy, tactics and measurement for integrated marketing campaigns enterprise wide to drive sales and results across all product lines
  • Forecast defined metric performance, identifies opportunities to improve results, enhance contact strategy or extend reach
  • Collect data and update forecasting accuracy models at the operational level. Provide in-depth material analysis to support the areas of new product launch and product expansion growth
  • Provide cost-benefit analysis, market sizing, forecasts and budget reporting for all programs and channels
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to the forecast such as promotion plans, competitive impacts and new product launches, and cannibalization in the development and delivery of the monthly demand plan
  • Drive prioritization and alignment of marketing plans and program launches to forecast trends
  • Establish and lead a monthly cadence of meetings as part of the demand planning process, coordinating cross-functionally between sales, marketing, finance and product divisions
  • Build, manage, and report on budget roll-ups for the Marketing organization


Campaign/Program Performance Measurement (ROI)

  • Establish and track measurement of KPIs for marketing program performance
  • Conduct post campaign analysis to identify areas of effectiveness, efficiency, attribution and optimization
  • Benchmark the organization’s current marketing activities, performance and investment against industry best practices and conduct gap analysis
  • Partner with marketing program managers to constantly optimize targeting, segmentation, offers, touchpoints, campaigns.
  • Manage the monthly campaign reporting consolidating data points and performance summaries for presentation to executive leadership.
  • Partner with the marketing strategist team to develop and execute measurable and impactful, stakeholder-aligned marketing campaigns/programs on time, on budget

Trend Analysis, Optimization Recommendations

  • Serve as subject matter expert on marketing metrics that matter, performance reporting, media mix and marketing pipeline analysis
  • Use data to spot trends and optimize lead qualification, conversion and routing
  • Analyze digital marketing and media performance trends, provide insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Analyze product sales forecasts and pipeline, provide insights and recommendations for program planning and prioritization
  • Work with channel partners on marketing performance analysis to inform investment decisions

Report Development and Delivery

  • Develop and deliver a regular cadence of reporting to marketing stakeholders and executive leadership, on the status of demand generation programs, marketing program ROI, new logo customer acquisition and product expansion growth
  • Pull weekly marketing activity metrics, inputting these measurements into report packages, with insights for optimization and planning
  • Create and deliver quarterly business review packages for each core product segment/team including analysis and insights of performance results from active marketing programs, as well as forecast scenarios with pending marketing program launches



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Management, or related field
  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field, preferred
  • 5+ years of Marketing Operations, Sales Operations or Demand Planning Analysis experience in a fast-paced environment
  • B2B, SaaS or technology industry experience preferred
  • Advanced to Expert level with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Understanding of a marketing funnel and how to align campaign strategies with customer journeys, a must
  • Expertise in planning, budgeting and goal setting with best-in-class marketing KPIs
  • Budget and forecast management experience, a must
  • Experience with building reports, writing insight summaries and presenting findings to executive management, a must
  • Experience in marketing analytics and research techniques, including attribution theory, CAC/LTV estimation, media mix modeling, and customer segmentation, preferred
  • Experience with targeting and segmentation and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns, a plus
  • Experience with paid media, preferably display and programmatic advertising, content syndication, social media, and search, a plus
  • Previous experience in managing complex marketing programs, a plus
