ABOUT THE TEAM

The Senior Vice President of Financial Services Operations directs the operations in Payments, Screening, Insurance, Vendor Credentialing and other operations groups for our US and Offshore teams.  The position will be responsible for managing all employees, maximizing employee productivity, accountability and effectiveness.  This business leader ensures customers receive the highest possible quality of service throughout the customer lifecycle through innovative development and execution of strategic service delivery plans, policies, procedures, and best practices. Focusing on continuous operational improvements, streamlining processes and procedures, measuring quantitative and qualitative metrics, this individual utilizes their strong leadership skills to ensure financial, operational and strategic goals are achieved through key phases of the service delivery cycle.

 

This RealPage leader possesses strong leadership and operational management skills, but equally important leads through personal values consistent with RealPage’s operating values. A major role of this executive is to guide, mentor, and coach managers and front-line personnel to a standard of excellence. This position requires a high degree of integrity and teamwork demonstrated by delivering high quality commitments on time and eliciting the same accountability from team members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the global Financial Services Operations teams
  • Manage anywhere from 5 to 500+ people within the organization, as well as experience with matrixed environments
  • Develop operational effectiveness strategy to support overall financial and quality goals ensuring deliver on our customer promise
  • Responsible for direction and assigning projects/assignments to vice presidents, senior directors and directors
  • Knowledge of detailed requirements (features, user stories, user acceptance criteria) used by various IT/Product partners to build needed solutions, with support from other areas of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve productivity and create long-term sustainable value, continuously focusing on managing the profitability of the financial services operations team
  • Define policies and procedures governing daily operations of departments.
  • Implement process improvement programs to increase quality and efficiency
  • Develop and be accountable for the successful achievement of measurable financial and operational success indicators
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative measures and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
  • Develop annual revenue, capital and expense budgets for all assigned departments.
  • Oversee Profits and Losses (P&L) for the financial services suite of products.
  • Develop and present presentations to C-level leadership
  • Design and implement a succession plan that incorporates employee development with a career path
  • Oversee quality assurance of processes designed to certify all customers receive the highest level of service to achieve success.
  • Manage at-risk clients by minimizing operational deterrents and convert these clients into exceptionally loyal RealPage customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, innovations and customer adoption and behavior to anticipate and proactively meet customer needs
  • Oversees the partnerships with our financial services’ Vendors, Hardware partners and Banks
  • Ensure all financial, quality and service goals are achieved and maintained.
  • Negotiate contracts with key vendors.
  • Create a high-energy work environment with exceptional employee morale.
  • Create a learning organization through the development of related training and mentoring programs.
  • Oversee reporting for all areas of responsibility and that appropriate deadlines are met
  • Monitoring and approving credit requests for the product

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

What we think it takes to get the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent related experience is required
  • Minimum 10 years management experience in operations or relevant consulting experience
  • Exceptionally strong quantitative analysis skills and experience with formal process improvement practices, and strong analytical aptitude
  • Deep experience in the operations of processing financial transactions
  • Strong grasp of industry best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Highly process-oriented and able to define new procedures as the needs of the business evolve
  • Innovative and creative at identifying new business approaches
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentational skills at the executive level
  • Proven ability to successfully lead large teams of exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Track record of motivating and developing entry level employees into highly productive and expert resources
  • Strong mentoring skills
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other technology tools
  • Strong knowledge of web-based applications

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Masters’ of Business Administration preferred
  • Strong project management experience
  • Preferred 7-10+ years of experience working in the Property Management Industry
  • Preferred 7-10+ years in Financial Service industry
  • Experience handling large and extra-large projects
  • Experience with creating and developing processes
  • Experience with people leadership
