ABOUT THE TEAM

The implementation organization within RealPage is a cornerstone to the business' success. We are responsible for implementing RealPage solutions in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. The implementation organization is fast paced, exciting and driving the RealPage business forward each day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Implementation Project Manager must have excellent time management skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills and strong work ethic. The Project Manager must be able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written communication focusing on project delivery. The qualified candidate will have strong experience as a project manager for medium and large IT projects with Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery. This position reports to the Director of Implementation. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Define project scope, goals, risks and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
  • Track and report on resource time utilization, project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Manages risks and mitigations accordingly.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Business Analysis / Project Management / Customer Service role
  • Technology/SaaS, Marketing/Digital Advertising and/or Property Management experience
  • Ability to take ownership of projects assigned with successful deliveries
  • Ability to recognize and escalate situations as deemed necessary
  • Ability to address and resolve all issues utilizing the available resources in a timely and proficient manner
  • Demonstrated ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates consistent leadership and judgment
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments
  • Experience with core Project Management tools including Microsoft Project Server 2007, Microsoft Project Professional 2007, Microsoft Office
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating; Strong interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
  • Extended working hours may be required as needed
  • Ability to travel as required by project <10% nationwide

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • PMP certificate and/or previous project management experience a plus
  • Experience using Photoshop, Salesforce, JIRA/Atlassian, Wordpress, Excel/Google Sheets, Social Media Marketing Accounts and other Content Management Systems a plus
  • Computer proficiency, adapts to software easily, excellent email and writing skills
